DESCRIPTION:Having a stroke is devastating episode in anyone’s life \nNo stroke is the same and everyone has different outcomes but often the practical day to day things we take for granted are the things we need the most help with. \nThis group is to offer share experiences and support.  As it grows we hope to invite along guests from other groups who can offer additional guidance \n\nOur mantra is\n‘I don’t have a “disability.” I have a unique ability to survive\, and thrive\, with what life has thrown at me.\n\n\nDisability after stroke is a new normal\, embrace the fact you are still here and rise to the new challenges\n\n\nDon’t let stroke consume you\, set new goals and stick to them; move on with your second chance\n\n\nLove Life Laugh’
