DESCRIPTION:Essex Police will be joining the Witham Hub as part of National Knife Amnesty Week.\nThey will be offering advice on the changes in law and the changes around carrying and owning weapons and to discuss any concerns \nThey also hope to bring along a knife arch and detection wand\, which will be located inside the Hub\, to show what types of equipment are being used to protect the public \nWhile it is recognised that there is not an issue regarding knife crime in the town this is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the changes to the law and see the equipment in use
